Spotted A Patek Philippe Nautilus On The Cook At

Last time we were in Zurich visiting our friend Daniel of Maurice de Mauriac (the same day we photographed his awesome studio for this slideshow) coach factory outlet, we went to one of the city's most famous restaurants, the legendary Kronenhalle - think of it as an older, cooler, classier Peter Luger without the surly wait staff.

The Swiss respect a good timepiece.

This is the type of thing you see in Switzerland that you just don't see in the US (that much).  This man isn't a banker, lawyer, doctor, or even a watch blogger coach outlet, and yet he's wearing a really nice watch. Speaking with him, he doesn't think much of it after all this time - the Patek has become a part of him.  He loves the watch and has no plans to sell it.  What does he plan to do with it? You guessed it coach outlet, hold on to it for the next generation.

BTW - Next time you're in Zurich, we can highly recommend Kronenhalle. It's a lot of fun coach outlet online, food is fantastic cheap coach bags coach factory outlet, and you'll get to mee this man and see his Patek.

The cook who served us our meat, a friend of Daniel's, came to the tableside in full chef's gear wielding some fantastic chunks of beef, one majorly long knife, some buckets full of gravy, oh yeah, and one vintage Patek Philippe Nautilus. But he wasn't some poseur, no no, he had bought the watch brand new about 30 years ago and had worn it every day since.
