on our trip to ikea the other day the kiddos bought some cute little finger puppets with their reward money. of course they wanted to build a puppet theatre to put on some shows, so this afternoon thats just what we did. we used some things we found lying around the house: an old box or two, a stick from the yard, fabric scraps, string, scotch tape and some markers to complete this easy project. after about 30 minutes of setting up, the little theatre was ready for playtime. the imaginations ran wild... nuff said.
thinking we might run to the art supply store tomorrow to pick up some glitter and replace the fabric hearts with big shiney stars since, well... the puppets are MOVIE STARS. oh and we also popped popcorn while we sat back and watched.
