Olivia Wilde Carries Jimmy Choo

Is there anything that Jimmy Choo can’t do? What an awesome looking handbag

Olivia Wilde stepped onto the red carpet of the Tribeca Film Festival’s screening of “The Five Year Engagement” with a great, big wildcat roar – and a new blonde ‘do. But don’t be distracted by her wildly print maxi-dress or her newly lightened locks! I have to say Olivia’s Jimmy Choo clutch saved her savage-chic look from looking too feral.
A structured and hard-shelled accessory, like this mirror-slick, paneled clutch, is the only piece that could ground Yigal Azrouël’s long, busy dress, (out of his Pre-Fall 2012 collection) giving it a sense of focus and purpose. Gold Ippolita hoops finished the look, for a glamorous nod to summer escapades.

Perform a lighter variation of Olivia’s outfit with the abstract-print, silk-crepe Tux maxi-dress by A.L.C. (on Net-a-Porter for $795), a similar color palette without a literal animal pattern, or go all out in color with Jay Godfrey‘s leopard-print Tello dress (at Bergdorf Goodman for $475).
Cop her style directly with Jimmy Choo’s highly polished Sweetie clutch in rust, for warm neutrality, or in nude petrol acrylic, for creamy texture (both at Saks Fifth Avenue for $750).
