Spring Spotting - Steve Kazee Is on the Dots

“Once” is currently in previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theater, 242 West 45th Street. It is scheduled to open March 18. For information and tickets, go to oncemusical.com.

Steve Kazee, an actor from Kentucky MLB Jerseys, was more than a bit hesitant to sport spots: “It’s not really what I would go out and get on my own MLB Jerseys,” he confessed while gearing up to wear trend-centric polka dots for T’s photo shoot. “But it looks cool. I’d talk to Tom Ford about an opening-night outfit.” That outfit Kazee is referring to would be for the spotlight he’ll soon be in again as the star of “Once,” the little musical with the big heart that’s heading to Broadway (it’s in previews now) after celebrating a critically acclaimed run off Broadway at the East Village’s New York Theater Workshop. Based on the 2006 film about a Dublin busker’s fateful romance with a young Czech piano player, the show features the Oscar-winning song “Falling Slowly” performed by a captivating Kazee as “Guy MLB Jerseys,” who accompanies himself with guitar skills that he’s been honing since the age of 13. In honor of the occasion, the ink-free actor plans to mark the milestone with his first tattoo — a line drawing of a guitar’s peg head with a string that loops into the show’s charming logo. Surely it’ll be the first in a series for this gifted performer.
